I'm a master....plus cute handmade creations by my other half!

I've had a few back dated posts but I feel like I need to share these adorable cards made by my lovely Alex (his blog) for three different occasions! As you know I used to be a creative in terms of I used to paint and do illustrations and a bit of graphics at uni but for the past 2-3 years I've stopped being creative in that sense to learn about them instead. I took up a Masters degree (which I've recently graduated from) as an art academic and focused my dissertation on 18th century painting, furniture and architecture. I won't bore you with more details but I've recently graduated! Woohoo!

I have been missing being a creative person who actually made/design things so I'd like to share what my other half have made for me ever since we got together half a year ago! He worked on these cards by hand and they really have blown my mind, they look so professional and fun! It must've taken him ages to create/design them... Aren't they all so amazing? A lot of people couldn't believe they are all hand made haha!

The first card he made me is this Christmas card design with a big red bow on a figure skating bootThis one was a combination of me being a figure skater as well as my obsession with bunnies! He also included some cute photos of us and a ticket to Disneyland when he took me before he asked me to be his girlfriend awww!
Ice Princess Christmas Card Inside design! I love how he included my two rabbits! They look like them too! <3

This one was for my birthday (....he knows I love Korilakkuma!)

Valentine's day (I love this one so much because the message is so sweet and it must've taken hours to cut those pieces up! He also made such a romantic candle lit dinner in the evening too T____T awww)
Valentine's Card and last but not least, he made a card for my pets Jake and Daisy, with a sweet message about how much he cares about them too <3

That's it for now!

Himekaji - Romantic Gyaru Hairstyle and Recent Outfits!

Hello guys and dolls,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but to make up for it, I have a couple of outfits in this post and a new hairstyle I experimented with yesterday. I have a lot of hair and it's really hard to do interesting hairstyles unless I'm ready to put on a lot of hairspray to keep the shape due to the thickness. But this romantic gyaru hairstyle is very simple and I didn't have to put a single drop of hairspray on! Although, I would advise you to spray some if you are going out for a whole day, I was just going over my boyfriend's place for dinner/sleepover so the hair didn't really need to stay in place that long!

Braided Himekaji Gal hairstyle with Liz Lisa headband....

...or with a clip

and after a lot of people here (my facebook page) opted for the clip as it shows off the braids more, I went for that in the end! Here's the full outfit: My Melody x Liz Lisa outfit!
Rundown:
Dress: Liz Lisa
Jacket: Miss Selfridge
Bag: Liz Lisa x My Melody
Heels: La Pafait

I'm so in love with this cute bag by Liz Lisa x My Melody!!
It was a souvenir that a lovely staff from the biggest J-culture event HYPER JAPAN gave me from her recent trip to Tokyo ^_^ The combination is just too perfect: my favourite gal brand and kawaii bunny mascot.
Liz Lisa x My Melody Bag!
On friday I saw Iron Man 3 with Alex and it was soooo good! I wished they would've shown more scenes with all the different robots though...I felt like wearing black and plaids so this is the outfit I came up with:

Random Outfit of the Day
Rundown:
Necklace: tutuHA
Bag: Ank Rouge
Belt: MA*RS
Top and Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Eyelashes: Dollux

Lastly, I coordinated another school uniform style look for a cake and shopping outing with my frilly friend! I think aside from the everyday himegyaru/himekaji style, kogal is my favourite fashion style at the moment. It's so cute and I love plaid and pleated skirts. And the Japanese style school ribbon/bow (this one was a brooch) is just too adorable ^____^ Kogal / Kogyaru style

Oh I need to add this....the peanut butter milkshake and the cake x ice cream was amazing! I need to go back there. <3
Cake with Reina!

That's it for now, I will be doing a post on a himegyaru look next...my hair was HUGE!

Gal Brand Bags April 2013

Yes, among other things I'm very fond of cute bags, it's my weakness especially around spring time! Japanese brands always come up with the prettiest and cutest designs...so I bought three bags this month. Liz Lisa and Ank Rouge Spring collection is definitely something worth buying/saving up for. They go so well with my looks too. I'm predicting denim and plaid injections in my future daily outfits!

Frilly Alpaca Outing!

I've been wanting to see real life alpacas ever since the Arpakasso craze began so I was very happy that I was invited to the mini meet to an alpaca farm...thanks to the lovely Rosanna and Wai-yi for organising this! ^_^ The fluffy creatures were so tame and too adorable for words! We were assigned our own alpaca to walk and I chose Alfie because he was apparently a kicker and I like a challenge haha! He was very well behaved during the walk though and I was very sad to have to say goodbye to the little lad....
My look for the day:

Alfie, I was informed, is a stud at the farm ;P
Group shot of the fake alpaca at the front of the farm!
Haha I love this pic!

We then went to Swallow bakery for lunch and afternoon tea and cake in one sitting! The place was very pretty and it was all decorated in an Easter theme too which was apt to the occasion. I got myself a bunny cupcake, naturally.
Love love love
Lastly...me hugging Alfie T_T
I was trying to blend in with my Korilakkuma hoodie but they weren't easily fooled.

Bye for now!

Kawaii Rilakkuma Polaroid Camera!

Since a lot of you have asked about this cute camera, I have finally gotten round to posting about it!  Alex (click here for his blog) gave me this super adorable special edition Rilakkuma polaroid camera set (it comes in that cute box), Rilakkuma polaroid film and a small 'sandwich' frame for my birthday. I've always wanted a polaroid camera since seeing his black one, so this was the perfect gift. ^_^

There are different functions and a detachable lens for macro shots (not pictured!). It's pretty much point and shoot with just a few settings like brightness/darkness, wide shots and closeups but the camera is very straight forward. I love polaroid films because it's more of a keepsake than digital photos, plus it's got that instagram filtered outcome, haha I'm so hipster right? *ahem*

The camera: (Click to see bigger versions of these pics!)
The little polaroid film album that came with it in the box and what it looks like inside...that's Windsor castle in the background XD.

The first polaroid pic I got from Alex o*_*o:

A bit tech-y (yes LOL) from my usual fashion/food/event post but I hope you enjoyed reading about the cute camera set!

The stock photos shows what the colours of the Sweet Potato bars on the packaging...it's lilac-y pink! How cute is that?! This box below, however consists of 12 packs, a great option if you know which one you crave/like or even as gifts. 1. Strawberry Cheesecake OR Blueberry Cheesecake

4. Rum Raisin OR Green Tea x Sakura
But you can give me any flavours any day and I'll be over the moon!
