New background, outfits and food!

Hello!
Finally, spring is here! :D

So we had a last minute shoot for Kawaii TVwith a bunch of frilly friends last Thursday and this is what I wore: (Sorry for the purikura background and iPhone camera quality! XD)
Classic Floral outfit - Victorian Maiden JSK
I was going for a floral spring Classic look with bunnies and flowers headpiece. Here's a candid of me falling asleep on the train which was the only shot of me in my Mary Magdalene coat and the bunny amongst the floral arrangement. Afterwards I had dinner with Richie when he picked me up after work and we had Korean. Yum, haven't had Korean in a while...
Fell asleep on the tube but it's good shot of my headpiece.  Korean dinner with le boyfriend.
I especially like this pic too because it shows off the massive lace on the vintage blouse I paired with this dress. One of my friends thought it reminded them of that dinosaur with umbrella-like thing around its neck. *lol* We did some purikura afterward which I haven't done in a while.

Bunnies and one more outfit under the cut!

Shoots, Thesis, Shoot, Thesis....shoot the thesis!

Quick Bullet point updates again!
  • I was so sad I had to miss the Frills & Frolics Tate Modern meet last weekend! Everyone looked so pretty! I will have to visit it soon if I have the time. So many meets that I want to attend (especially this one which is one day before my deadline!) but I doubt my epic procrastination skills will let me... I've been either in the library or at home for the past few days for research but I still find it difficult with so many pretty things to distract me. It's pretty overwhelming trying to read about 10 books in one sitting...time management Tania...it's all about prioritising right?
  • I did a shoot for Roxie Sweetheart in collaboration with Gothic Lolita Wigs which was why I had to miss the meet ;_; but the pictures turned out great! <3 Here's a sneak preview of what I did in a form of a banner edited by Roxie Sweetheart.

  • I did an otome-kei outfit and this time I'm a blonde (wig is GLW's Spiral Collection 'Blondie'). Here's a sneak preview of the woodland themed shoot:

Latest acquisitions! Aatp's birdcage JSKs are the devil....I got two of them as I couldn't decide which colour I liked the most. Talking about bird cages, did you all see the newest AP bird cage print? I'm not too fussed but anyone getting/reserving it? For the red one click here.
Juliette et Justine - Mere Vierge Alice and the Pirates - Cage JSK Blue
and I finally got the JSK for this! I've still got the deer fever...

  • Indulgent blouses! They're the way to go now for me....I've been collecting a lot of chiffon blouses for a while and I recently got some Btssb chiffon blouses. I must say the quality is definitely worth the price tag. The cream one is from HYPER JAPAN.

  • I've been getting a lot of late birthday presents from my lovely frilly friends over cake and tea, good way to unwind after a day or research non? I thought I'd share this one because it's got bunnies and macarons which generally will enduce squees from a lot of girls I know. Laduree Key Chain - Bunny & Macarons

♥ Also lastly, I'd like to say thank you for all the lovely valentines I got this week! They meant a lot to me! <3 Also I've been terrible at keeping up with live journal posts since I got my page on Facebook and moved blogs here so this is why I noticed it late! Thank you again! I was so glad to see so many Hyper Japan related ones there too! You all were fab!! ♥

I lied, I'm going to end this entry with an amazing rendition (with violins and piano!) of 'Human' by The Killers instead...

Sunday Hyper Japan 2012

So here's a quick cover of the Sunday HJ catwalk that I organised!
It was much quieter on Sunday which was surprising this time around.

The catwalk showcased the more subdued, elegant and 'darker' styles such as Gothic Lolita, Classic Lolita, Otome, Aristocrat, Kodona, Cult Party-kei, Dolly-kei Lolita and Mori-girl. Again I didn't have pictures for this for individual models *cough Richie got lazy cough* and it seems to be harder to find the Sunday ones on flickr so a group shot would have to do!

But yes everyone looked flawless and I was glad to get the more obscure styles like Cult Party represented on it! It got a lot of people inspired to research more on these fashions now which is always great to hear! Spread the Street Style love! <3 Thanks again to my ever so supportive boyfriend Richie for taking all the photos at Hyper Japan!
